Many PA’s have a 10% fee provision in their contracts and I have seen them as high as 20% in the wake of hurricanes.  Your client may be in a better position to negotiate that amount than some homeowners, but I would wait to at least see what kind of estimate the insurer comes up with before taking that step.

Good Afternoon,

Yesterday afternoon one of my client’s homes was struck by lightning.  They have a significant fire loss.  The house is in central Florida located on a prestige lake.

I am guessing the house and contents are worth north of $5,000,000.

I am encouraging the client to use a public adjuster to deal with their insurance company.

Does anyone have a referral?  I would appreciate any help you can render.
