Good afternoon, Mr. Weintraub. I hope all is well. My name is Fahim Aseer, and I am an upcoming senior at JP Taravella High School. I am interested in a career in law, and I was referred to you by your niece, Jordan Weintraub, to send out my profile and request an internship.

My drive to become a lawyer initially sparked with my deep involvement in speech and debate, where I hold the position of president on my team. I have also qualified for NSDA nationals twice, made it into multiple elimination rounds at top national tournaments, and recently became an Academic All-American candidate, a distinction attained by only 2% of high schoolers. Through a career in law, I aim to elevate the voices and status of those whom society often overlooks. Therefore, I am particularly interested in anything dealing with civil rights. However, any involvement in the legal field would be incredibly advantageous and appreciated.

I am looking for an internship for the remainder of the summer and throughout the upcoming school year, preferably in the Coral Springs and Parkland area. I am available to start as soon as firms would like me to begin. My goal is to make a meaningful impact not only within the firm but also in the lives of the clients outside of the firm.
