Friends,

I and the other members of the CLI Committee have fielded many inquiries about how in-person attendance at the Institute is tracking this year.  First, the Certification Review Course will not be conducted simultaneously as we do every other year because the CLI was pushed back too far to let the Certification test takers take the Review Course in time for their exam.  So it will only be CLI attendees, which historically number around 300 people.  This year, although it's conducted virtually, we are still tracking large numbers in person.  We expect more than half our normal attendance at the CLI to be in-person attendance, the only question being how much more than half.  I am really pleased with the in-person registrations and wanted everyone who may be on the fence to know people are coming out.  In fact, in-person attendance so far has been 80% of the registrations we have received, with only 20% so far attending virtually.

The moral of the story?  Register and be there in person if you're comfortable with it.  The room block deadline has been extended, so come out, here me (and I guess others too) speak, then meet me at the bar!  Let's have fun!
