This New Orleans company prepared, signed as “agent,” and recorded a lien against one of my client’s projects on behalf of a local Florida subcontractor. The lien is untimely on its face (by nearly a year), but the owner wants my client to have it bonded off or removed. This clearly violates FS 713.08(2) restrictions on who can prepare and sign liens. Recommendations on how to pursue a complaint against these yahoos??
