Perhaps my original email was unclear, I was looking for responses from persons with personal knowledge and personal experience actually utilizing the technology.   Is anybody actually utilizing this technology in our world or just talking about it at CLE seminars?

Has anybody had experience on a project or case utilizing this 3-D laser technology?  Besides reducing or eliminating the need for As-Builts on renovation projects, the technology has some obvious applications in the construction defect setting.  I would be interested to hear about the  quality, accuracy  and usefulness of the imagery and cost ranges.
