Arnie,
You do know we are putting together a quarterly CLC newsletter, right? I think an Arnie's Corner may be in order...

Subject: [CLC-Discussion] CLC: InAction

Hello my fellow CLC-ers! It's your favorite construction attorney in Jacksonville and this is the inaugural edition of "CLC: InAction"

This installment of InAction is about CLC member Pete Roberts. For those of you who have been in the construction law game long enough, you probably have run across Pete (no comments please). For those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting Pete, Pete is an accomplished construction lawyer whose practice was initially based out of Gainesville (a/k/a the Promised Land). Pete built a sizeable law firm in G-ville before buying the Spurrier's oceanfront home and relocating to the coastal town of St. Augustine Florida.

Anyway, Pete recently made the Jacksonville newspaper and I wanted to share the article with the group (see attached). In true CLC fashion, I hereby plan to smash Pete's new climbing record. In addition to my weekly YMCA geriatric yoga class being a core component to my training regimen (thanks for the support Beatrice & Gurty), I have also joined my wife's middle-aged, middle -class Pilates class at the club. Don't worry. I am pacing myself and careful not to overexert.

In the next edition of InAction, I will be providing an investigative report into the dark world of the Construction Law Department at Carlton Fields (The Lannisters of the CLC Westeros - if you are a Game of Thrones fan). How has House Carlton Fields maintained its stranglehold on and influence over the CLC? Treachery no doubt played a hand (or hard work and commitment is another plausible answer) . Will the Becker & Poliakoff clan from the south (the Martells) try to ascend to the Iron Throne or will Smith Currie & Hancock vie for such (with its dragons and Lisa Colon-Heron acting as Daenerys Targaryen)? WINTER IS COMING!

Hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend. Arnie.
