[CLC-Discussion] Liens on Specially Fabricated Materials

I don't know that there is a case on point, but the statute says the first day is the day that the specially fabricated materials began to be made, not including shop drawings. (Note the difference between specially ordered materials and specially fabricated materials made for the specific site not readily useable elsewhere.)

I use the last date as the day when the materials were ready and available to go to the site; or the date that the customer said "Don't deliver."

Regards,

Subject: [CLC-Discussion] Liens on Specially Fabricated Materials

For a Claim of Lien for specially fabricated materials that were not incorporated into the project (but were delivered to supplier), what is the first and last day that work was performed? I presume the last day is the day the specially fabricated materials were delivered to the suppliers warehouse? What about the first day? Was it the day the specially fabricated materials were ordered from the manufacturer or some other date? Please let me know your thoughts.
