[CLC-Discussion] Surety independent investigation

Please respond only to me with any support for unreasonable or excessive costs claimed by surety for independent investigation and/or representation where principal requests tender of defense and that is denied by surety.
Surety claims costs is excess of what principal's GL carrier paid to settle case.
